Learning: Shifting paradigms in education and extension studies
Abstract
Though the title of our journal emphasises education and extension, professional interventions that presumably lead to learning in others, there is a growing tendency to focus on learning itself, in terms of its facilitation, co-learning, social learning, and learning organizations., and in terms of emphasising the processes of human interaction from which learning emerges. Does the new emphasis reflect euphemism for more of the same or is there more to it?
