Abstract
This article briefly explains the tensions between Mexican federal government and the Ministers of Tourism. The ministers are trying to implement Covid-19 protocols to help prevent the increase of cases in the country. While the lack of restrictions thus far has made Mexico a popular place to visit through the pandemic, it has also increased the cases in popular destinations.
