Survey: 74% of hotels will have to lay off more employees without coronavirus aid from Congress

Abstract

A survey done by the American Hotel & Lodging Association indicates that nearly 3 quarters of hotels must lay off more employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lack of federal funding. Researchers fear the side affects from the lack of federal funding to the hospitality industry will set the economy into a double digit recession.
