Small Grain Forage Variety Testing, 2014

For the 2013-14 growing season, a forage production trial for small grains was conducted at the Northern Piedmont AREC in Orange County. Several cultivars of barley, oats, rye, triticale and wheat were tested for forage yield, and maturation rate.
