dc.description.abstractExpedia Group's Barry Dillar strictly contrasted Bill Gates' prediction on business travel only resuming to half the levels they were pre-pandemic in a recent interview. Dillar predicts an "explosion of travel coming out of the pandemic." Airlines are anticipating business travel to resume following the Labor Day holiday and hotels are positioning themselves for a strong second half of 2021. The markets in China are a strong indicator of increased business travel and the markets are up 5% higher in China than they were pre-pandemic levels.en
