dc.description.abstract | The results are in, but they are not looking good. CEIR reports show that about three-quarters of the US events in March were canceled. Some were postponed and many of those may be canceled later. CEIR measures the performance of the exhibition industry in the CEIR total Index which presents a 15.1% decline from a year ago. It is too early to tell what sort of recovery we can expect, but any evaluation of the exhibition industry’s ability to become stable again needs to account for desperately needed Federal support. | en |
