Understanding on-farm produce safety risks are essential for all farms who grow, pack, harvest, hold and/or ship fruits and vegetables. Identifying risks that may be associated on the farm during the harvest stage, is the fifth step to developing and implementing best practices to reduce those risks and reduce potential produce contamination.
