dc.description.abstractMarriott International has seen increased growth worldwide over the first quarter of 2021 and the second quarter of 2021. Mainland China has provided a positive picture of what the return to travel can look like for alternative regions. Occupancy continues to improve month over month for Marriott, and many hotels are coming down from their payment plans that were put into place during the pandemic. Marriott added 23,500 rooms globally this past year and continues to have a healthy pipeline moving into the post-pandemic era.en
