Computer Visions: An Interdisciplinary Exhibit of Algorithms and Artwork

Abstract

On display on the first floor of Newman Library from now to December 20th, "Computer Visions: An Interdisciplinary Exhibit of Algorithms and Artwork explores photography and its relationship to vision through work from the School of Visual Arts graduate and undergraduate students in ART 3564: Machine Vision. The work exhibited comes from a series of technical exercises pursued in class. Students explored processes of digital pinhole cameras, databending, scanner distortions, high dynamic range (HDR) photography, panoramas, and trichromatic photography."
