Invasive Species: A Global Dilemma

Abstract

This exhibit aims to educate the Virginia Tech community about invasive species –what they are, their impacts, how they can be introduced to new areas, and much more. Perhaps most importantly, this exhibit seeks to empower individual and collective action to better prevent and slow the spread of invasive species in the Commonwealth and beyond. Understanding and addressing the global invasive species dilemma is necessary to create and preserve healthy landscapes for ourselves and future generations of people and wildlife.
