dc.description.abstract | Over 26 associations representing 11 different industries came together to conduct a survey in January to determine what the future of events would possibly look like heading into 2021 and beyond. The survey results examining roughly 8,525 individuals, noted that the main factor would be vaccination rates and the need to create a new virtual format that appealed better to sponsorships. Many respondents noted they would only feel comfortable attending in-person conferences if they were vaccinated and would be open to regional events during 2021. Although the state of the United States pandemic response is constantly evolving, the survey results from January indicate that many associations across a variety of industries, would be open to travel if the vaccination rate continues to increase. | en |
