Hospitality and Leisure Industry Unemployment More Than Double the National Average

Abstract

Unemployment within the hospitality sector of the United States is more than double the 7% national average. The hardest hit facets of the hospitality industry include food & beverage, entertainment, and accommodation. U.S. Travel and the American Hotel & Lodging Association remain hopeful Congress will pass relief funding before the end of 2020.
