Abstract

This article takes a close look at the ways that Accor, a French hospitality and lodging company, has sought to promote and embody diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB). Their efforts serve as a standard for hospitality companies aspiring to do and be better at creating a equitable, diverse, and inclusive work spaces. From addressing accessibility for our differently abled guests and employees to welcoming LGBTQI+ team members and guests in intentional ways, Accor is a company prioritizing DEIB efforts right now.
