Abstract

The impacts of roost-loss on bats is poorly understood. This dataset was used to assess the impact of controlled roost removal on northern long-eared bat maternity day-roosting social structure, roost selection, and movement.

Description

The following dataset was collected as described in Silvis, A. 2014. Day-roosting Social Ecology of the Northern Long-eared Bat (Myotis septentrionalis) and the Endangered Indiana Bat (Myotis sodalis). Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Dissertation. The data set includes 4 .csv files (Bats.csv, Movement_data.csv, Roosts.csv, Species_codes.csv) and 1 .txt file (METADATA.txt).
