Travelers and citizens within the European Unition (EU) will have the opportunity to freely travel between boarders this summer as the rollout of a hopeful mobile application launches across the 27 member bloc. The idea around the verification is that a QR code will be taken from a smartphone or paper which indicates to authorities if a travelers has received a vaccine, negative COVID-19 test, or is recovering from the virus and produces immunity. This comes at a time when the entire EU, Germany and Sweden, have not agreed on the process in which health status has been approved and when the EU has not solidified a plan to open it's boarder to non-EU countries.en
