dc.description.abstract | England's second lockdown entailed an unsurprising drop in travel and travel confidence ahead of the holiday season. Although travel was restricted domestically, English hotels continue to suffer from the nonexistent presence of business and group travel. Researchers are hopeful the English government will allow minimal travel for the Christmas holidays, but are not getting their hopes up. Thankfully, like the U.S., England benefited from an extended summer travel period to seaside and rural domestic destinations. | en |
