Distributed Digital Preservation Workshop for ETDs

Abstract

The goal of the second ETD Preservation Workshop is to share with you the information necessary to establish a sound preservation program and describe how the MetaArchive Cooperative can meet your institution’s needs. We hope you will consider joining with us to preserve ETDs and better ensure that they will be available for the long term. The instructors are: Gail McMcMillan, Director of the Digital Library and Archives at Virginia Tech’s University Libraries; Martin Halbert, Director of Digital Programs and Systems at the Emory University Libraries; and Bill Donovan, Digital Imaging Librarian at Boston College.
