    Abstract
Discusses the status of corn plants in spring 2016 in Virginia. Many of the plants were noted as stunted and yellowed. Reasons for this include colder than average spring temperatures, wet soils, lack of sunshine, nutrient deficiencies, soil pH, and perhaps types of hybrids planted.
