Abstract

In simple terms, you could say that building order is the unity that arises in a building when the parts taken together determine the whole and, conversely, when the separate parts derive from the whole in an equally logical way. The unity resulting from design that consistently employs this reciprocity may in a sense be regarded as a structure.
