This book contains the design for a vacation house. This house is situated on the south facing slope of Lone Mountain in Gallatin County, Montana and receives heavy snowfall each year. This project was primarily explored through model making and focused on the relationship of different materials to one another and the spaces those materials can create. The contrast between concrete and wood best shows the dynamic use of materials in the house. The final design of the house evolved through the way different elements and materials responded and interacted with one another.en
