Abstract

Rhythmatical was designed to be an educational application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that conveyed mathematical topics via musical, rhythmic, or movement interactive techniques. Created by a team of professors, a librarian, students, and members of game development industry this iPhone and iPod Touch application connects music and math for fourth to eighth grade students. This article describes the history of the application, the creation of the new deliverable, as well as gives insights into new ideas for the future.
