Positive youth development: The case of teens and youths in leadership (TYIL) in Nigeria

Despite the role of positive youth development (PYD) in nation-building, relatively few PYD programs exist outside the United States, and many are still unaware of their benefits; hence, there is a need to examine the benefits of existing programs. This presentation aims to examine the influence of the Teens and Youth in Leadership (TYIL) Program, a PYD out-of-school program in Nigeria.
