dc.description.abstractAn algorithm is described for extracting lines from grey level digitizations of industrial drawings. The algorithm is robust, noniterative, sequential, and includes procedures for differentiating shaded areas from lines. Examples are given for complex regions of a typical mechanical drawing.en
