The Creature is an MFA thesis exhibition of a single interactable felted wool on wood animatronic sculpture. The written thesis contains documentation of The Creature's display and related works with a focus on the research and practice that led to the creation of a living sculptural body in communication with the viewers inhabiting its space. The Creature uses form and motion to build a relationship with a viewer while highlighting the ephemeral nature of relationships and living bodies.en
