Reconnection Project

Abstract

The Reconnection Project is much less of a defined project, and much more of a framework to reference the psychological, physiological, and social needs of humanity and to propose a new framework for urban and city design that balances the needs of humanity without excessive compaction and a respect for definition of space and nature. For the purpose of this project, Phoenix Arizona, one of the most isolating cities in the United States, was selected to be re-imagined as an urban landscape that encourages connection rather than isolation.
